She graduated from North Texas State University, Denton, Texas, in 1969 with a Masters in Library Science. She was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas # 11562, Sam Houston Chapter, Belton, Past President. She was a teacher and librarian, a Methodist. She enjoyed knitting, traveling and church work.

     Jessie Irene McFall is the daughter of Walter Aaron McFall and Jessie Lea Hodges.

     Walter Aaron McFall was born on 19-May-1889 at Sipe Springs, Comanche County, Texas. He married Jessie Lea Hodges, daughter of James Pinkney Hodges and Talitha Nora Rice, on 14-Sep-1919 at Eldorado, Schleicher County, Texas. Walter Aaron McFall died on 17-May-1984 at San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, at age 94.
