Cader Cooper "from land records in Christian Co., KY, we find that Cader owned land 'to the state line' in the southwestern part of the county. He received public land on 2-Oct-1821 at Jefferson County, Alabama. He purchased land in 1823 at Jefferson County, Alabama. The 1830 Federal Census enumerated him as head of household in 1830 Jefferson County, Alabama; Cooper, Cader, head; males: under 5=1 (Albert); 5-10=1 (John); 30-40=1 (Cader); females under 5=1 (Mary Jane); 5-10=2 (Eliza, Elizabeth); 10-15=1 (Nancy); 20-30=1 (Sarah); no slaves, no free colored. The 1840 Federal Census enumerated him as head of household in 1840 Talladega County, Alabama; 1-1-1-0-0-0-1. He died on 22-Sep-1842 at Talladega County, Alabama, at age 46. He was buried at Talladega County, Alabama. He left a will on 13-Dec-1842 at Talladega County, Alabama; Zachariah Cooper, of St Clair County, along with Anderson Dill and Thomas Goodwin of Talladega County, posted a bond of $2,100; Zachariah Cooper was appointed Administrator of the Estate of Cader Cooper; estate appraisal list and sale includes cows, hogs, horses, corn, cotton, one Negro woman & child, furniture, farming tools, rifle, looking glass, gin and running work and wheat thresh. Sarah Cooper bought many items, others going to various other buyers. He was Estate is listed in the Orphans Court Minutes of: September 14, 1843, page 38; April 18, 1845, page 180; May 31, 1845, pages 213-215; and September 4, 1846, pages 356-358 between 1843 and 1846. He estate was sold at auction on 18-Apr-1845 at Talladega County, Alabama.
