Cader Cooper "from land records in Christian Co., KY, we find that Cader owned land 'to the state line' in the southwestern part of the county. He received public land on 2-Oct-1821 at Jefferson County, Alabama. He purchased land in 1823 at Jefferson County, Alabama. The 1830 Federal Census enumerated him as head of household in 1830 Jefferson County, Alabama; Cooper, Cader, head; males: under 5=1 (Albert); 5-10=1 (John); 30-40=1 (Cader); females under 5=1 (Mary Jane); 5-10=2 (Eliza, Elizabeth); 10-15=1 (Nancy); 20-30=1 (Sarah); no slaves, no free colored.
