The 1860 Federal Census enumerated her as a member of G W Cook's household; in household of G. W Cook, age 22, merchant, born Tennessee, Martha Cook, age 18, born Mississippi, James T, age 1/12.

     Martha J. Cooper was born in 1862 at North Carolina. She was the daughter of Rufus Landrum Cooper and Lucinda Fagan/Figgins.

     Marvil Cooper was born circa 1721. He was the son of William Cooper and Elizabeth Lau.

Mary Etta Cooper died at DeWitt County, Texas, No listing of her grave at DeWitt County cemeteries. A grave space (unmarked grave?) seems to be on either side of her parents graves (see photo of tombstone).
     The 1880 Federal Census enumerated her as a member of Sylvester Cooper's household; Cooper, Sylvester, head, w/m/49, farmer, maimed-yes, born Alabama, father born North Carolina, mother born Alabama.

     Mary Francis Cooper was the daughter of Isaac Cooper and Mary Valentine.

     Mary Jane Cooper was born on 19-Mar-1828. She was the daughter of Cader Cooper and Sarah Byars. Mary Jane Cooper married W. Allen McKee.
     The 1830 Federal Census enumerated her as a member of Cader Cooper's household; Cooper, Cader, head; males: under 5=1 (Albert); 5-10=1 (John); 30-40=1 (Cader); females under 5=1 (Mary Jane); 5-10=2 (Eliza, Elizabeth); 10-15=1 (Nancy); 20-30=1 (Sarah); no slaves, no free colored. The 1850 Federal Census enumerated her as head of household on 12-Oct-1850 Oktibbeha County, Mississippi; on page 290A, Allen age 24, occupation - physician; Mary age 21; son Thomas age 11/12.

     Mary Polly Cooper died at Alabama. She was born in 1808. She was the daughter of Matthew Cooper and Elizabeth (?). Mary Polly Cooper married Albert Fondren.

     Matthew Cooper was born in 1773 at South Carolina. He was the son of William Cooper and Frances (?). Matthew Cooper married Elizabeth (?) circa 1809. Matthew Cooper married Elizabeth Aft in 1840. Matthew Cooper died in 1856 at Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
     The 1850 Federal Census enumerated him as head of household in 1850 Spartanburg County, South Carolina; page 239a. He left a will on 25-Jan-1854; recorded in Will Book D, page 469, Box 38, Package 14; recorded November 14, 1856.

     Dr. Milton Cooper was born on 31-May-1802 at Pulaski County, Kentucky. He was the son of Malachi Cooper and Ann Wilkerson. Dr. Milton Cooper married Charlotte Carter on 20-Apr-1820.
