     John P. Dodd was born on 27-Oct-1871. He married Effie Pearl Cooper, daughter of Marshall Jerone Cooper and Mary Adeline "Addie" Rice, in 1937. John P. Dodd was buried at Hollywood Cemetery, Houston, Texas.

     Nancy Dodson was born on 5-Apr-1797 at South Carolina. She was the daughter of Charles Dodson and Caroline Lucy Morgan. Nancy Dodson married Asa Cooper, son of Malachi Cooper and Ann Wilkerson, on 24-Jan-1814 at Pulaski County, Kentucky. Nancy Dodson died on 8-Jun-1845 at Rush County, Indiana, at age 48.

     Bushrod (1) Doggett was born at Lancaster County, Virginia. He was the son of Richard Doggett and Elizabeth Bushrod. Bushrod (1) Doggett married Sarah/Nancy Ann Stripling, daughter of Joel Stripling and Mary (?), circa 1737 at St. Pauls Parrish, Stafford (now King George) County, Virginia. Bushrod (1) Doggett died in 1791 at Culpepper County, Virginia.
     Bushrod (1) Doggett all four sons served in the Revolution and two were killed.

     Bushrod (2) Doggett was born in 1762 from an entry in VESSTRY BOOK OF ST. MARK'S PARISH, VA 1730-1785 (Spotsylvania, Orange and Culpepper Countyes): "At a Vestry held at the Vestry House, 1st day of November, 1762...To John Green for serving a Capais on Sarah Ann Doggitt..." In those days, unwed mothers were called up to name the father of the child so a Bond for his support could be requested. the above entry implies that Sarah Ann failed to appear and a warrant for her arrest was issued. Bushrod (2) Doggett died on 25-Jul-1829 at Butler Cemetery, Rutherford County, North Carolina.

     Elizabeth Doggett was the daughter of Bushrod (1) Doggett and Sarah/Nancy Ann Stripling.

     George Doggett was the son of Bushrod (1) Doggett and Sarah/Nancy Ann Stripling.
