He sold 224 acres to Thomas R. Rice; sold 250 acres to Asa S. Rice on Jan 22, 1875.      John Wood was born on Jan 2, 1835 at Crawford County, Missouri. He married Polly Ann Morrow, daughter of James M. Morrow and Frances (?), circa Feb, 1853 at Ozark, Howell County, Missouri. John Wood died at Ozark, Howell County, Missouri.

     Susan F. Otis was born on Mar 13, 1835 at Fearing Township, Washington County, Ohio. She died on May 13, 1897 at age 62.

     Rhoda Ann Courtney was born on Apr 21, 1835 at Marathon, Cortland County, New York. She married Clark Jacobs. Rhoda Ann Courtney married Samuel J. Morris, son of Arba Morris and Lucy G. (?), on Dec 11, 1874 at Rushford, Allegany County, New York. Rhoda Ann Morris died on Jul 31, 1893 at Hinsdale, Cattaraugus County, New York, at age 58 and was buried at Rushford Cemetery in Rushford, Allegany County, New York.

     Susan Seamour Garey was born on Jul 15, 1835 at Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; Ohio on 1860 census. She married Henry Felix White Hill, son of Amos Adams Hill and Alice Amanda Ward, on Jun 20, 1852 at DeWitt County, Texas, and was buried at Hillside Cemetery in Cuero. Susan Seamour Garey died on Feb 28, 1908 at age 72.
     She resided at Brushy Creek, Williamson County.

     Amy Harriet Marshall was born on Dec 27, 1835 at North Carolina. She married Sylvester Cooper, son of Cader Cooper and Sarah Byars, on Feb 2, 1852 at Houston, Chickasaw County, Mississippi. Amy Harriet Cooper died on Nov 1, 1934 at Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 98 of cardiac insufficiency and senility; informant M. J. Cooper and was buried at Hebron Cemetery.
     She is listed on tax rolls as having 48 1/2 acres of land, horses, mules, cattle and hogs. 1896 DeWitt County, Texas. She applied for Confederate Soldier Pension, stating that she was 63 years old on December 27, 1898, resided in Terryville, DeWitt County, Texas since July 1, 1875, was married to Sylvester Cooper on February 2, 1853, at Houston, Mississippi, that Sylvester died on May 15, 1883, that he was in the 17th Mississippi Infantry, Company A, enlisted March, 1862, lost his leg in battle in October 1864, did not get home till after the war; sold a half interest in 56 acres of land in DeWitt County, received $175.00 on October 27, 1897; that she came to Texas in 1866 and signed by Harriett Cooper, witnessed by D. W. Dass and J. C. Cooper. A Certificate of County Judge and County Commissioners is attached. An Application for Mortuary Warrant is also attached stating that Mrs. Harriett Cooper, pensioner of the State of Texas, file number 5093, died on November 1, 1934 in the home of Marshall J. Cooper, son, residing at 111 Anderson St., Houston, Texas on Dec 22, 1899. She resided between 1929 and 1931 at Houston, Texas; lived at 11 1/2 ( or 111) Anderson in 1929-1930; at 3 Anderson in 1930-1931.

     Elizabeth Givens was born circa 1836 at Berry's Lick, Butler County, Kentucky. She married Peter M. Moore on Mar 17, 1858 at Butler County, Kentucky; at James Givens home.

     Mary Ann Bowen was born in 1836 at Missouri. She married Aquilla Adams. Mary Ann Bowen died on Apr 26, 1924. She was buried at Alexander Cemetery, DeWitt County, Texas.

     Maria Bowman was born in 1836 at Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.

     William M. Bowen was born in 1836. He married Mahala Dukes.

     Amanda D. Prince was born in 1836 at Alabama. She married William M. Cooper, son of Caleb Cooper and Deborah (?). Amanda D. Prince married William S. Horsman in 1863.
